Aurora State announces opponents for their very first season

Larkdight Studios Aurora State Swarm Team Builder Series (Season 1) July 1, 2025 3:00PM CST

The Aurora State Swarm will face the Chicago Tech Aces (in Chicago), on July 5th, in a Non-Conference Friendly, before officially kicking off Season 1 the following week, July 12th, against the Aurora University Northlights.

After two road games to start the season, the Swarm finally get to unveil their brand-new state-of-the-art stadium, known as “The Nest”, when they host the Beecan Heights Tangers. You're in for a treat when you see the breathtaking design of the field and stadium (made by yours’ truly).

• Week 0 – Wed, Jul 2 11:00AM CST – @ Chicago Tech (Non-Conference Friendly)

• Week 1 – Thu, Jul 3 7:00PM CST – @ Aurora (Season Opener)

• Week 2 – Fri, Jul 4 1:00PM CST – vs Beecan Heights (Home Opener)

• Week 3 – Mon, Jul 7 1:00PM CST – @ Colorado Tech

• Week 4 – Bye Week

• Week 5 – Wed, Jul 9 1:00PM CST – @ Colorado

• Week 6 - Thu, Jul 10 5:00PM CST – vs Golden U (Armed Forces Night)

• Week 7 – Fri, Jul 11 11:00AM CST – @ Grand Forks

• Week 8 – Mon, Jul 14 11:00AM CST – vs Colorado State (Homecoming)

• Week 9 – Bye Week

• Week 10 - Wed, Jul 16 7:00PM CST – @ Cascade Valley

• Week 11 – Thu, Jul 17 5:00PM CST – vs Lakewood (Senior Night)

It’s hard to really estimate what record the Aurora State Swarm will finish with since this is the first ever season of the Rocky Mountain Conference. How this works, is the team who finishes with the best record in the RMC will be named the Rocky Mountain Conference Champion and go on to face the Champion of the Cascade Mountain Conference in the U.S. Mountain Championship.
