FLO Gators Rebuild (Season 1)

The Florida Gators enter the Off-Season Program as the 2024 National Champions. They will be losing key pieces of their Championship core to the NFL Draft, but they do return some great pieces that are only going to get better with more experience. Talent will never be an issue in Florida but finding those who championship DNA is the test. Let's get into HC Meyer's 2025 Off-Season Program!

With Season 1 of the Florida Gators’ Program Rebuild culminating in them being crowned the 2024 National Champions, let’s take a more in-depth look at how they did in their first season under HC Nathan Meyer.

The Florida Gators finished the regular season with an impressive 11-1 record (7-1 SEC), won the SEC Championship, and then went on a run in the Playoffs after locking up a first-round bye. In the playoffs, the Gators took down the Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl and the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl, before capping it all off in Arlington, Texas with the National Championship against UNC Tarheels - who they would defeat 29-23 to be named the 2024 College Football

The Florida Gators have defeated the North Carolina Tarheels in the 2024 College Football National Championship! This is the fourth ever National Championship for the program, and the first since 2008 when HC Nathan Meyer’s father, Urban, was the Head Coach.

The Florida Gators have defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes 31-15 in the Sugar Bowl (CFP Semifinals), advancing to the 2024 National Championship game.

The Florida Gators have defeated the Texas Longhorns 24-17 in the Cotton Bowl (CFP Quarterfinal) and will advance to the 2024 College Football Playoffs Semifinals.

While the #2 Florida Gators wait to see who their opponent will be in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinals, the best players and coaching staffs all gathered at the Lincoln Center in New York City to recognize those who helped continue to grow this sport and continue making it as spectacular as it is.

With the #2 Florida Gators coming off a dominating win over #16 Vanderbilt in the SEC Championship, they will be able to rest some after locking up a bye in the First Round of the College Football Playoffs and await to see whether they face the Wisconsin Badgers or Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl. In the meantime, let’s take a look at the Gators one last time, because we won’t be checking in until after the National Championship.
