Kansas Jayhawks Rebuild (S1)

The #12 Kansas Jayhawks have defeated the #5 BYU Cougars 23-17 in the Big 12 Championship game, locking up a berth in the College Football Playoffs as B12 Champs and finishing the regular season with an 11-2 record.

The #6 Kansas Jayhawks fall short against the Utah Utes at home, losing 14-17. They will need to beat BYU in the B12 Championship game next week, if they have any hope of competing for a National Championship this year.

The #7 Kansas Jayhawks get into a shootout with the Iowa State Cyclones and escape with a 37-34 win, keeping their playoff hopes alive for another week.

The #14 Kansas Jayhawks defeat the Arizona Wildcats on the road 35-23.

The #18 Kansas Jayhawks defeat the Oklahoma State Cowboys 31-16.

The Kansas Jayhawks get a huge 51-13 rivalry win over the Kansas State Wildcats, helping them continue driving up the ranks.

The Kansas Jayhawks finish off their biggest win of the season, defeating the #10 Texas Tech Red Raiders 26-24 on a game winning field goal in the final minute of the game.

The Kansas Jayhawks enter into their second, and final, bye week of the regular season sitting in second place in the Big 12 with an impressive 6-1 record (3-1 B12) under new HC Bill Self. The Jayhawks are doing very well considering their unconventional hiring at the beginning of the season.

The Kansas Jayhawks hold on and get the 21-20 win on the road against the UCF Golden Knights, after getting a game-tying extra point field goal block with 1:24 left in the game, avoiding dropping back-to-back conference games.

The Kansas Jayhawks' win streak comes to an end as they lose 35-31 to the Cincinnati Bearcats, who take lead atop the Big 12 standings.

The Kansas Jayhawks blow out the West Virginia Mountaineers 45-14.

With the Kansas Jayhawks entering into their first bye week of the season, sitting undefeated at 3-0 with back-to-back wins over ranked opponents, now is a good time to look at Bill Self’s squad.

The Kansas Jayhawks get another big road win over a ranked opponent, defeating the #21 Missouri Tigers 27-10.

The Kansas Jayhawks go on the road and defeat the #20 Oklahoma Sooners 24-17 in overtime.

The Kansas Jayhawks escape a season opening upset loss to the Fresno State Bulldogs, beating them 17-14 on a walk-off field goal.

Since the Jayhawks won’t be playing in Week 0, this update will simply be a look at the finalized depth chart, redshirt list, and captain designations. We will check back in at their first bye week (Week 4).

The Kansas Jayhawks have released their 2025 schedule, kicking off at home on August 4th against the Fresno State Bulldogs.

Coach Bill Self has been longing for the opportunity to be part of the Jayhawks’ football program, and now he has full control over it. He is going to breakdown each position, watch the tape, and determine who he believes can help this team be the best it can be this season and in the future. Before we find out the results, let’s first take a look at that roster he is looking through.

Welcome to Season 1 of my Kansas Jayhawks’ Program Rebuild, inside of College Football ’26!

In Season 4, with the release of College Football 26, we will see R3DBARZ rebuild two middle of the country programs in Missouri State and Kansas. We will also see the second-ever Championship Chase series, similar to Colorado Buffaloes in Season 2, where this time around R3DBARZ will take over at Michigan and try to lead them back to the National Championship. And last, but not least, we will see the first of three Road to Glory series' coming where we will follow 5-star QB
