UNC Tar Heels Rebuild (S1)

Since the Tar Heels won’t be playing in Week 0, this update will simply be a look at the finalized depth chart, redshirt list, and captain designations. We will check back in at their first bye week (Week 4).

The North Carolina Tar Heels will kick off Season 1 at home against the TCU Horned Frogs, September 2nd. It’s going to be great seeing HC Bill Belichick on the sideline once again, but we also don’t know what to expect from him as a college coach. Outside of maybe Clemson and Duke, this seems like a very favorable schedule for the Tar Heels in the first season of this rebuild. It may prove to be a really good launching point for this program moving forward.

Coach Belichick is looking to prove himself once again. He could have rode off into the sunset with his Super Bowl rings and his smoking hot 20-something-year-old model girlfriend, but he still would have been missing what he loves; football. He and Michael Lombardi (Tar Heels’ GM) are looking to bring their NFL experience into this newly growing college football world, treating the program like it’s an actual NFL football business instead of a collegiate program.

As we wrap up August and head into September, we move right into Season 5 where we will see two new series - the UNC Tar Heels' Season 1 Rebuild and the LSU Tigers' 2025 Championship Chase Series!
