Larkdight Studios Florida Gators' Program Rebuild (Season 1) June 1, 2025 3:00PM CST

The Florida Gators will kick off Season 1 on June 2nd when they begin their season on the road against Florida Atlantic, despite it being a game that many Gators fans will be in attendance for. The Gators are hoping they scheduled a cupcake first game to help open up their offense, because it doesn’t get much easier for them at all the rest of the season.
Florida will host the Miami Hurricanes the following week, before going on the road for another huge test against the Alabama Crimson Tide. One nice thing about the Gators’ 2024 Schedule this season is that five of their opponents are out of Florida (2 on the road, so essentially home games). It is a blessing, because they are going to need all the help they can get this year.
The Gators’ schedule is one of the most difficult in all of the nation this season – with huge games against Miami, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, and Florida State. Almost all of those teams will be ranked in the Top 15 throughout most of the season. It would be such a world-shaking shock if the Gators were able to survive this gauntlet of a schedule to finish with a positive record.
Dates and times for all games are below:
Week 1 – Mon, Jun 2 11:00AM CST – @ Florida Atlantic (Season Opener)
Week 2 – Tue, Jun 3 7:00PM CST – vs #20 Miami (Home Opener
Week 3 – Wed, Jun 4 1:00PM CST – @ #5 Alabama
Week 4 – Thu, Jun 5 11:00AM CST – @ Florida International
Week 5 – Bye Week
Week 6 - Mon, Jun 9 1:00PM CST – vs UCF
Week 7 – Tue, Jun 10 5:00PM CST – vs #4 Tennessee
Week 8 – Wed, Jun 11 11:00AM CST – @ #13 Kentucky
Week 9 – Bye Week
Week 10 - Fri, Jun 12 5:00PM CST – @ #13 Georgia
Week 11 – Mon, Jun 16 11:00AM CST – @ Arkansas
Week 12 – Tue, Jun 17 7:00PM CST – vs #17 LSU (Homecoming)
Week 13 – Wed, Jun 18 5:00PM CST – vs #8 Auburn
Week 14 – Thu, Jun 19 7:00PM CST – vs Florida State (Senior Night)
The Florida Gators are expected to go 4-8 this season, which would put them nowhere near the SEC Championship game. The Gators have one of the most difficult strengths of schedules this season, which really doesn’t aide the first time Head Coach Nathan Meyer. Let’s see if Urban’s kid can go out there and shock the world in his first season.
