With the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors entering into their first bye week of the season with a solid 2-1 record, now is as good of a time as any to check in with the program.
OVERVIEW
HC Manti Te’o’s impact on this program is showing up early. They look to be pretty decent. Now, there’s nothing groundbreaking yet, especially in the loss to Notre Dame, but they were competitive for most of that game and did blow out a decent Arizona State team the following week.
When it comes to recruiting, the Rainbow Warriors haven’t landed any commitments from any prospect yet, but they are heavy on the recruitment trail. HC Te’o and the elite coaching staff are doing all they can to help turn this program around. It is going to take some time for people to see the Rainbow Warriors’ program as a top destination, but you have to start somewhere.
