With the Kansas Jayhawks entering into their first bye week of the season, sitting undefeated at 3-0 with back-to-back wins over ranked opponents, now is a good time to look at Bill Self’s squad. HC Self is really having a hard time figuring out the passing game, so much so that potential recruits are getting increasingly weary of committing because of the style of play but hats off to the run game because it is absolutely beautiful to watch. Let’s see if HC Self and the offensive coaching staff can figure out how to light a spark in the passing game so recruits don’t turn away, or else maybe they’ll just say heck with it and run the ball down everyone’s throats until they can’t no more.
