The Kansas Jayhawks enter into their second, and final, bye week of the regular season sitting in second place in the Big 12 with an impressive 6-1 record (3-1 B12) under new HC Bill Self. The Jayhawks are doing very well considering their unconventional hiring at the beginning of the season. We are halfway through, and we still haven’t figured out what HC Self has on the University of Kansas Athletic Department. Maybe they just don’t have the budget to pay two elite coaches… Regardless, the Jayhawks have been in some very close games this season and have prevailed in all but one. They will come out of the bye week to face all conference opponents and vie for a spot in the B12 Championship game in the very first season of the rebuild.
