Welcome to the first season of a brand-new NBA 2K25 Dynasty Rebuild Series! If you have been following me, you know that I have done rebuilds through Madden 24, Madden 25, and College Football 25, while also taking a stab at a 2K Dynasty Rebuild last year with the Charlotte Hornets (before it was cut short). This series is going to be a fun experience as I am a novice when it comes to 2K basketball games. Let's see if my skills as a successful organization rebuilder can transfer from the NFL and College Football to the NBA!

It will be my proud responsibility, as the new General Manager of the Miami Heat, to run day-to-day operations that will involve signing and trading, contract negotiations, public relations, the NBA Draft and Summer League, and anything that will help the Heat become a successful NBA Dynasty once again.

Like all my rebuilds, I like to set three-year goals that the organization needs to reach in order for the rebuild to be deemed a success. Here are those goals:

• Have at least 2 winning seasons (0/2)

• Land a top 5 draft pick (0/1)

• Lead the league in a single category at year-end (0/1)

• Win a regular season award (0/1)

• Have two players named to the NBA All-Star Team (0/2)

• Have two players make an All-NBA team (0/2)

• Reach the NBA Playoffs (0/1)

• Win at least one NBA Playoffs round (0/1)

• Land a big-name NBA Free Agent (0/1)
