Welcome to Season 1 of my Missouri State Bears’ Rebuild, inside of College Football ’26! What an insane year last year was for me and my YouTube channel. I think it’s fair to say that you all have helped my rise to the top as one of the best College Football Rebuilders on the platform! This series, the first ever I’m doing inside of the newly released College Football ’26, marks the eighth official college football rebuild for me!

Just like all seven of my rebuilds that came before this one, there is a brand-new Head Coach taking over the program and his name is Mitchell Franconia. He is a no nonsense, tough-nosed coach who comes from a lineage of football coaches. He has been making a name for himself in the Mississippi High School ranks, after graduating from Ole Miss five years ago. He brings an aggressive defensive mind to the game that reminds you of old school Bears or Steelers’ defenses. It’s going to be quite a challenge for him by taking over as the Head Coach of the putrid one-star Missouri State University. It’s going to be a minimum three-year rebuild, so I hope you are willing to stick around and see if he can help take this program to new heights or fail miserably.

Here are the three-year goals for this rebuild to be deemed a success:

• Have at least 2 winning seasons (0/2)

• Out-recruit in-state rival Missouri (0/1)

• Beat/Upset Missouri once (0/1)

• Win a College Football award (0/1)

• Be in consideration for Coach of the Year (0/1)

• Qualify for a bowl game (0/1)

• Recruit a top 25 class (0/1)

• Land at least 1 5* recruit (0/1)

• Have at least 1 player drafted (0/1)

• Finish a single season ranked in the AP Polls (0/1)
