FLO Gators Rebuild (Season 1)

With the Florida Gators entering into their first bye week of the season, following an impressive 4-0 start to the season with wins over #20 Miami and #5 Alabama, now is as good of a time as any to check in with the program.

The #12 Florida Gators have obliterated the FIU Panthers 97-0.

The #20 Florida Gators have defeated the #5 Alabama Crimson 34-27.

The Florida Gators have defeated the #20 Miami Hurricanes 49-25.

The Florida Gators have defeated the FAU Owls 25-22 in the season-opener.

Since the Gators won’t be playing in Week 0, this update will simply be a look at the finalized depth chart, the redshirt list, and the captain designations. We will check back in at their first bye week.

The Florida Gators will kick off Season 1 on June 2nd when they begin their season on the road against Florida Atlantic, despite it being a game that many Gators fans will be in attendance for. The Gators are hoping they scheduled a cupcake first game to help open up their offense, because it doesn’t get much easier for them at all the rest of the season.

A new chapter has just begun for the Florida Gators, with the recent out-of-left-field desperation hire of new Head Coach Nathan Meyer. Does that last name sound familiar? Well, that’s because somehow the son of Urban Meyer is now the new leader of the Florida Gators' football program.

Welcome to the first season of the Florida Gators’ Program Rebuild, inside of College Football ’25!

In Season 2, R3DBARZ has taken on three new programs to rebuild – Colorado Buffaloes, Washington Huskies, and Florida Gators. These are all much more well-known brands unlike Coastal Carolina, San Jose State, or UAB, but it has been a while since we’ve seen them atop the College Football world (outside of Washington’s run last year).
